FRUSTRATION: The death of my father left a lot of issues unresolved. I felt frustrated at the vastness of the mess I was left to clean up and unsure of how to do it.
HOW I COPED: When I felt frustrated and confused at what to do I looked at small pieces of the big picture and mapped out what I would need to think about in order to solve the overall problem. I focused on creating small wins for myself by tackling each item one by one. When I became completely overwhelmed I learned to step away and do something active so I could come back with fresh eyes.
